Tubing, Canoeing, Kayaking. There are a number of outfitters close by who will provide rentals and shuttle service. We are happy to provide suggestions based on your groups needs. Personally, we enjoy putting in up the river and floating down to the property.

Hanging out on the river: There is a fabulous rocky outcrop across the river to extend your water time if the float wasn’t enough-so bring your water chairs, floats, and coolers if you would like to enjoy this river pastime.

Tennis. We have the only tennis court on River Road. Courts are lighted for evening play when it is cooler! You will need to bring your own balls and racquets. A basketball hoop is set up on the court as well.

Fishing: Yes the Guadalupe does have trout, and they sometimes can be found at our location during cooler months. Bring your own gear, or book a guided trip through a local outfitter.

Hammocks: We have several hammocks underneath shady trees that are perfect for an afternoon nap with the sounds of the river flowing! There are room for more if you have wrap around hammocks you wish to bring.

Yard Games: We provide Corn Hole sets for each cabin. Fell free to bring your volleyball, badminton, or croquet sets as there is plenty of room to put these up. Don’t forget your frisbee, football, or other forms of entertainment!

Smores! - We have an outdoor fire pits (we provide firewood) for a favorite way to close out the evening with the fireflies!

River Access: Two access points for river entry. Stairs to dock on one end and grassy entry at the other (our kids could wear themselves out tubing from one end to the other over and over again!)

Local Music: Koozies and the River Road Ice House both have live bands playing during the busy season and there are concerts at Whitewater Amphitheater near Canyon Lake Dam.

Gruene Texas- Only 6 miles away! Can’t say enough! From the Oldest Texas Dance Hall with amazing concerts, to the adorable shops and yummy food- it’s worth adding an extra day to your trip.
